This year, LAMMSKINSGALLERIET has actually been on the market for 15 years.
I come from a mountainous region where there is a long tradition (not least within my own family) of sheep farming and the manufacture of warm sheepskin garments. I wanted to introduce the fine products to the Swedish market and started in 2005 with a physical store in central Helsingborg. The customers came there mostly from Skåne, among them were local celebrities such as Mat-Tina and Henke Larsson. The winters were much colder then and I sold a lot of warm sheepskin hats, sheepskin mittens and sheepskin slippers.
Times change, the weather has changed, and suddenly natural sheepskin became a popular interior design detail. In addition, online sales started to become a big thing. Now I have a physical store at “Spritan” (Ödåkra Spritfabrik) which is a tourist destination for tourists visiting Skåne and an online store – thanks to it, the customer base has expanded to all of Sweden.

Right now we have received new Australian sheepskins (very popular!) in different lengths – both as 1, 1.5 or 2 skins. All are already available in our physical store at Spritan in Helsingborg and online.
We also have nice sheepskin pillows – both in Australian sheepskin and the fluffy ones in Tibetan sheepskin.
I would also like to take this opportunity to tell you that several new products will soon be available in the online store, including Skåne handicrafts – sheepskin and wool products made by Carina Albertsson.
